Prolonged and heavy rain during January and February led to an extended delay. Contractors were able to resume work in March, but some portions of the site have remained inaccessible due to excessively saturated soils. While the completion date has been pushed back some, the contractor is working to accelerate work as much as possible with the hope of having the greenway open for use by the end of summer.
