Overall Johnson Architecture, Inc. has completed the Architectural & Engineering Design & Construction Documents for all three phases of the project. All required permits have been aquired by the General Contractor, Johnson & Galyon.
Temporary office space has been located and staff relocated, out of the construction zones as required. Phase I and Phase II work is complete. Phase III construction is currently underway.
Phase I: County Trustee Construction is complete and the new public hallway connecting the east end of the building is open.
Phase II: 4th Floor Southern Riverside Offices Construction is complete on Phase II and the new Knoxville Planning (formerly MPC) and Development Services (formerly Plans Review & Inspections and City Engineering) front service counters and offices are open to the public.
Phase III: 4th Floor West End Offices, Public Spaces, and East Hallway and Conference Room Phase III is currently under construction. Estimated completion of construction is March 28. Once construction is complete PBA will commence FF&E (instalation of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment). Estimated project completion is April 15, 2019.
